The one where I spent 7 hours at the Finnair lounge in Helsinki

Catching my flight back home to Singapore and I didn’t manage to get a late check out at the hotel. So I begrudgingly made my way to the airport with plenty of time to kill in between.

Thankfully the Finnair business class lounge at the Helsinki airport proved to be comfortable. Its layout is very spacious and has a selection of different seat types to suit your liking.

Unfortunately if you’re flying business class you’re herded into the regular lounge. If you have Emerald status or above with OneWorld you gain access to the “premium” lounge just beside, which apparently has a better selection of food and drinks.

In any case I found the selection adequate but honestly a bit lacklustre compared to business class lounges in the Asian airports.

The best thing is that there are also 6 individual shower rooms and also a sauna (which I didn’t use as I was feeling awkward and didn’t know where to leave my bag) but I did take a shower and it was nice to have this facility available.
